Nana Kwame Bediako, leader of the newest political faction
in Ghana, The New Force has on the 6th of May 2024 launched the SAVE
GHANA FUND, a crowdfunding project to raise money to support his political
ambition to rescue Ghana from the depths of its socio-economic woes. Speaking
to media and press at the Kwarleyz Residence in Accra he revealed the notion
behind this project and his plan to take Ghana out of its current predicament,
with the help of the citizens.
Prior to the launch of this initiative, Nana Kwame Bediako,
popularly known as Freedom Jacob Caesar has gained popularity for his charismatic demeanor,
public persona and the mystery surrounding his unveiling as the man behind the
mask and at the forefront of The New Force, a movement which has become
synonymous with a hope of breaking the norm of bipartisanship in Ghana,
offering a fresh alternative from what the populace is used to.
Although the leader of The New Force seems poised in his entreaty to follow
through with his plans and visions for the country, he does recognize the need
for the people’s affirmation and support, one of the rationales behind the
launch of his SAVE GHANA FUND. Calling for a change in the way and manner of
operating and the overall mindset of the people, he recounted the need for a change in the mindset and approach of the people especially with regards to this year’s elections, which so
far is the most crucial in the last two or three decades for the country.
Speaking on the need to foster an attitude of responsibility in our leaders, he
cited the importance of the people’s direct involvement in the furtherance of
his political agenda to motivate the loyalty required by citizens from
their leaders in the execution of their sworn oaths and responsibility to the
people who put them in office.
Taking this into account, Nana Kwame Bediako launched the
SAVE GHANA FUND which offers the people a look into his proposed methods of
doing things should he be elected into office, reminiscent of inclusion,
transparency and fairness.
The Leader of the New Force is certainly confident in his
vision for the country, having cited his interest in industrialization and sectors
with potential for growth like the agricultural sector amongst others. He is certain
of his party as the saviour Ghana needs and judging off his success as a business
man and an entrepreneur, he is definitely well positioned as far as decision-making
is concerned.
As to whether he will be able to salvage the Ghanaian
economy is solely dependent on his chances of getting into office, however, one
thing is for sure, he is certain about involving the people in matters he
clearly thinks and acknowledges concerns them.
