Africa’s queen of Afrobeats, Tiwa Savage, has once again shaken the internet not with glitz, but with raw honesty. In a recent heartfelt video that has quickly gained traction across social media, the global superstar announced a new project dropping August 29th, one that she calls “personal” and she means every word of it.

Draped in gold satin and clutching a vintage boombox against a soft backdrop, Tiwa Savage is seen not just as an icon, but as a woman baring her soul. The video is accompanied by an emotional message, where she shares the vulnerable backstory behind her upcoming release. 

Her transparency is a rarity in an industry often guarded by image and perfectionism. She admits to being “excited, nervous, a bit scared but immensely grateful.”

Though no song titles have been revealed yet, fans speculate that the sound may lean more acoustic, and soulful based on her intimate delivery.
