Ghanaian actor and football entrepreneur Yaw Dabo continues to prove that his impact goes beyond the screen. The founder of Dabo Soccer Academy recently met with President John Dramani Mahama in Paris, where the two engaged in an inspiring discussion about the future of Ghanaian football.
Dabo, who was in France to network with international scouts and explore opportunities for Ghanaian talents to play abroad, crossed paths with President Mahama during the 8th edition of the Paris Peace Forum. Their conversation touched on football reforms, the development of local leagues and the urgent need to uplift grassroots sports across the country.
The young football advocate commended President Mahama for his commitment to strengthening the Ghana Premier League and improving its structure and visibility. However, Dabo used the moment to passionately appeal for more attention and investment in grassroots football especially the colts, cones and academy levels that serve as the true foundation for talent discovery in Ghana.
He also emphasized the need for modern sports infrastructure, calling for the creation of quality training facilities that can nurture and prepare the next generation of football stars.
With each move he makes, Yaw Dabo continues to bridge entertainment, leadership and sports development, cementing his place as one of Ghana’s most influential voices in youth football advocacy.
