BLACK SHERIF IS HEADIES' WEST AFRICAN ARTISTE OF THE YEAR
Ghanaian music sensation and global star Black Sherif has won the award for the West African Artiste of The Year at the 2023 HEADIES which was held in Atlanta Georgia, making it the 2nd consecutive time the event has been held in the United States.
The category for West African Artiste of The Year celebrated artistes hailing from West Africa who made significant contributions to the continent's music in the year under review on Nigeria's biggest celebratory night in music.
Black Sherif beat the likes of Ghana’s Camidoh and Gyakie and Therapist from Liberia to win the award which has since solidified his position on the world stage as a force to reckon with. It is also a clear indication of his continued expanding global presence having being adjudged the ultimate Artiste of the Year at the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards within a short time. On receiving the award, he expressed his gratitude to his fans and the organizers of the Headies for the recognition.
