Ghanaian musician Black Sherif is preparing to return to New York as part of his ongoing Sun Swagga Tour, with a headline performance scheduled for 1 August 2026 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan.

The concert forms part of an international tour that has seen the award-winning artiste perform across Europe and North America following the success of his latest album, Iron Boy.

Since its release, the project has received widespread acclaim and has further strengthened Black Sherif’s reputation as one of Africa’s most compelling young voices, blending hip-hop, drill, highlife and Afrobeats with deeply personal storytelling.

Ahead of the New York show, Black Sherif shared his excitement on social media, telling fans he was looking forward to returning to the city.

The performance is expected to feature songs from Iron Boy, alongside fan favourites such as Second Sermon, Kwaku the Traveller, Oil in My Head, and Soja. Tickets for the event are already on sale, with strong interest from fans in the Ghanaian and wider African diaspora.

The New York performance is another milestone in Black Sherif’s expanding global career. Over the past few years, he has sold out venues across Europe and North America while earning international recognition through festival appearances and streaming success.

The upcoming show reinforces his growing influence on the global music scene and reflects the increasing demand for Ghanaian artistes on major international stages.
