In a much-anticipated move, Burna Boy, the Nigerian music sensation, has unveiled his fourth and final single, Cheat On Me, marking a significant prelude to the release of his seventh studio album. The track, which dropped on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, is set to be a part of his forthcoming album titled I Told Them... that is scheduled for release on Friday, August 25.

The Grammy-winning artiste's album has been generating substantial buzz, particularly due to his confident assertion that the album's content echoes predictions he made years earlier. Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, emphasized that he had foreseen his current success and musical evolution as far back as 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.

In a candid interview with Ebro Darden, Burna Boy shared, "Like I've been saying this was going to happen, it's like I knew it." The artiste's self-assured statements about his journey and his prescient understanding of his career's trajectory have intrigued fans and the music industry alike.

The album, boasting a total of 15 tracks, is expected to be a showcase of Burna Boy's growth and artistic prowess. Cheat On Me is the sixth track on the LP, which is approximately 47 minutes in length. The artiste expressed his satisfaction with his accomplishments while hinting that his artistic journey was guided by forces greater than himself.

The pre-release hype for I Told Them... was heightened by Burna Boy's historical Apple Music Live performance at the London Stadium on June 3. Addressing a massive crowd, the artiste reflected on his journey, stating, "This is such a blessing for me, man, but [at] the same time, I told them. I told them this was going to happen right from the beginning, you understand?"

Cheat On Me features a guest appearance from UK artiste Dave, adding to the anticipation for the album's full release. As fans eagerly await the album drop on August 25, they can now enjoy the visualizer for Cheat on Me.

The music video for Cheat On Me arrives after Burna Boy's previous releases from the album, including Big 7, featuring a cameo appearance by rap superstar Busta Rhymes. The album promises a diverse range of tracks, including collaborations with other artistes like Byron Messia, 21 Savage and Talibans II.

Burna Boy's journey from his earlier predictions to his current position as a global music icon adds a layer of intrigue to his upcoming album. With I Told Them... set to launch soon, fans and critics alike are eager to experience the culmination of Burna Boy's foresight and artistic innovation.
