Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has confirmed that her highly anticipated sophomore album, AM I THE DRAMA?, will be released on Friday, September 19, 2025, ending a seven-year wait since her acclaimed debut INVASION OF PRIVACY.
The album features an impressive roster of collaborators spanning multiple genres and generations, including Janet Jackson, Selena Gomez, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Kehlani, Summer Walker, Tyla, and Cash Cobain. The announcement was teased through a striking social media campaign, with Cardi B posing the question: “AM I THE DRAMA?”

In recent months, the Bronx native has been building momentum with singles such as OUTSIDE and IMAGINARY PLAYERZ, giving audiences a preview of her evolving sound and lyrical direction. With a lineup that blends pop icons, R&B powerhouses, and hip-hop heavyweights, AM I THE DRAMA? is expected to be one of the most talked-about releases of the year.
In addition to the album, Cardi B has unveiled plans for her first-ever headlining arena tour, the LITTLE MISS DRAMA TOUR, set for early 2026. The North American leg will launch on February 11, 2026, in Palm Desert, California, and will conclude on April 17, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia.
The tour will include more than 30 dates, with stops in major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Chicago, Toronto, and Philadelphia. Presale access begins on September 21, 2025.
The tour announcement signals a new milestone for Cardi B, who has previously headlined festivals and performed at global award shows, but never embarked on a full-scale solo tour.
Since the release of INVASION OF PRIVACY in 2018, which earned her a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, Cardi B has become one of the most influential figures in contemporary music and pop culture. While she has maintained a strong presence with chart-topping singles and collaborations, AM I THE DRAMA? marks her first full-length project in nearly a decade.
With the album’s high-profile features and the upcoming arena tour, Cardi B is positioning herself for one of the most significant comebacks of 2025.
