Ghanaian
singer and songwriter Cina Soul has held her maiden concert and plans to
sustain it in the coming years.
The
event which took place on Saturday, 11th February 2023, at the Accra Marriott Hotel drew
dozens of attendees. After weeks of intensive rehearsals and preparations, Cina
Soul finally thrilled patrons with an incredible performance. Speaking to
3Music TV, she expressed her interest to take her concert
to the next level.
“This
is actually my very first concert that I want to sustain over the years. ONE NIGHT WITH CINA SOUL was coined by my team because we want to sell an experience for
one night only. And it’s something we want to do all across the world. ONE NIGHT WITH CINA in the US, at the Madison Square Garden. It is something we want
to take worldwide.”
Although
she considers the show a success, she acknowledges that choosing to hold her
debut concert was not an easy choice.
“There
were some nerves. My team, everyone noticed because when you are starting
something afresh it’s not easy. Putting a team together, and managing people up
and down it’s not easy. But we just knew by the grace of God everything will eventually
come together and it did.”
In
addition to Cina Soul, many other artistes, including MzVee, Efya, Ria Boss, Mr. Drew and
Naana Blu, gave outstanding performances during ONE NIGHT WITH CINA SOUL.

“Some people act funny towards me just because of him, and others try to get close because of him,” Medikal laughed. “But I don’t listen to anybody. I move with positive energy.”
“He recorded and sent it back in under 15 minutes. That’s real chemistry.” But beyond studio moments, Medikal insists that the business side of music is just as crucial as the art itself.

What makes Akuvi different is her refusal to separate art from emotion. “People think they need to wait until they’re confident or ready,” she said. “But that’s just insecurity in disguise. I’ve learned to do it scared.”
Akuvi decided to confront her fears head-on and recorded her first song, OBLIGATIONS, a heartfelt conversation with God about her purpose.
