On May 3, 2025, Coi Leray radiated joy as she showcased her growing baby bump at a lavish Hello Kitty-themed baby shower in New York, celebrating the imminent arrival of her first child, a daughter, with rapper Trippie Redd. The 27-year-old PLAYERS  hitmaker, over seven months pregnant, stunned in a flowy white top and ruffled pink mini skirt, embodying her signature bold style while embracing her pregnancy glow. 

The venue was a pink-drenched wonderland, featuring a massive balloon display, a Lilo & Stitch rug, and a pink-tiered cake, as captured in videos shared on Instagram. Leray’s high-energy moment, jumping on a couch as the crowd cheered went viral, with fans, praising her infectious excitement and resilience amid personal challenges, as seen in posts garnering thousands of likes.

The baby shower, attended by close friends and family, subtly hinted at the baby’s name through decor, sparking fan speculation online, though Leray has not officially confirmed it. Notably absent was Trippie Redd, whose relationship with Leray has been strained since their split earlier in 2025, following allegations of infidelity she shared on Instagram Stories in January. 

Leray clarified on that a prior April event, mistaken for her baby shower, was a friend’s birthday party, and she expressed excitement for the real celebration, tweeting, “My baby shower next week. I’m so excited.” Despite tensions, with Redd claiming he was uninvited and communication limited to lawyers, Leray focused on positivity, supported by her inner circle.

The event, highlighted her determination to embrace motherhood on her terms. Leray’s journey to motherhood, announced on January 1, 2025, with a heartfelt Instagram post captioned “I’m a rock star mommy,” has been a public rollercoaster, marked by her rekindled romance with Redd in August 2024 and subsequent fallout. Her maternity photos in April, captioned “GIRL MOM,” and the baby shower’s pink aesthetic confirmed the baby’s gender, aligning with her earlier hints of pink balloons in January posts. 

Despite personal drama, Leray’s focus remains on her daughter and career, with fans applauding her happiness and independence. As she prepares for her daughter’s summer arrival, potentially near Redd’s June 18 birthday, Leray’s baby shower stands as proof of her strength. The event not only marked a joyous step toward motherhood but also cemented Leray’s narrative of resilience and self-empowerment.
