Tesla has officially launched its first-ever Supercharger Diner and Drive-In on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles, blending nostalgic Americana with cutting-edge electric vehicle technology.
The two-story, retro-styled diner pays homage to the classic 1950s drive-in era, complete with roller-skating servers, vintage aesthetics, and a menu of classic American meals. But behind the old-school charm lies a futuristic twist: the facility features 32 of Tesla’s latest V4 Superchargers, allowing drivers to power up their vehicles while enjoying a unique dining and entertainment experience.
Adding to the atmosphere are two massive LED screens playing curated short films, giving visitors a true drive-in movie vibe. Customers can conveniently place food orders through the Tesla app and have them delivered directly to their car while they charge.
The diner is the latest move in Tesla’s broader strategy to make EV ownership more appealing and experiential. By merging charging, leisure, and dining into one innovative stop, the brand is aiming to redefine what it means to refuel on the go. According to Tesla, if the concept proves successful, more locations like it could be rolled out in other cities.
As Tesla continues to lead in electric mobility, this venture signals a step toward a future where the charging station is not just a necessity—but a destination.
