Netflix’s hit romantic dramedy Emily in Paris is officially back in production, with Season 5 kicking off filming in Rome this May before returning to Paris later in the summer. The upcoming season is expected to premiere later this year, continuing the whirlwind life and loves of Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins.

This season picks up immediately after the events of Season 4, with Emily now managing Agence Grateau’s Italian branch; a major shift that brings new challenges, a fresh setting, and plenty of romantic entanglements.

Returning to the series are fan favorites Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Lucien Laviscount as Alfie, Eugenio Franceschini as Marcello, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie, and Ashley Park as Mindy. Notably, Camille Razat, who plays Camille, will not return for Season 5.

As Emily settles into her new life in Rome, the love triangle, or rather, love square intensifies. Alfie has moved on with a new girlfriend, Gabriel remains emotionally tied to Camille, and Emily finds herself drawn to Marcello, a charming and enigmatic Italian businessman.

With the glamorous backdrop of Rome and Paris and a fresh set of emotional and professional dilemmas, Emily in Paris Season 5 promises to deliver more fashion, drama, and romantic twists than ever before.
