Ghanaian Afro-fusion star Gyakie has officially been named in Forbes Africa’s prestigious 30 Under 30 Class of 2025, a milestone achievement that solidifies her status as one of the continent’s most influential young creatives.




The FOREVER hitmaker joins an elite group of young African innovators, leaders, and change-makers under the age of 30 who are shaping the future of business, music, technology, fashion, and sports across Africa and beyond.

Born Jackline Acheampong, Gyakie burst onto the scene in 2019 with her debut single Love is Pretty, but it was her 2020 breakout hit FOREVER that catapulted her into global recognition. The track, which appeared on her debut EP Seed, became a viral success and earned her an international remix with Nigerian superstar Omah Lay.

She’s since performed on global stages, collaborated with the likes of Sarkodie, Davido, and Major League DJz, and signed a joint deal with Sony Music Entertainment, RCA UK, and Flip The Music, her management label.

Gyakie’s inclusion in the Forbes list is not only a nod to her music but also to her impact as a young African woman breaking boundaries in a male-dominated industry. Known for blending soul, highlife, and R&B with uniquely Ghanaian storytelling, she represents a new generation of African artists whose work resonates globally.
