Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page to Star in Romantic Drama Italianna, Set for April 2026 Release
Rising star Halle Bailey and Bridgerton breakout Regé-Jean Page are teaming up for a romantic feature film titled Italianna, slated for a wide theatrical release on April 10th, 2026.
Italianna follows the story of a free-spirited chef, played by Halle Bailey, and a reserved British lawyer, portrayed by Page, who meet during a destination wedding in coastal Italy. What begins as a chance encounter quickly unfolds into a whirlwind romance, set against the sun-drenched backdrop of the Mediterranean.
The film promises to deliver heart, humor, and stunning scenery, exploring themes of love, personal growth, and cultural connection. This marks another major leading role for Bailey following her acclaimed performance in The Little Mermaid, while Page continues to cement his place as a leading man in both romantic and dramatic roles.
