Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P of the defunct Nigerian music group PSquare has revealed that he is about to drop a "non-skip" album.
According to the artiste, he is currently working on the project and will soon be available to his fans and the public.
He was speaking in an interview on a Nigerian radio station, Wazobia FM in Lagos.
He said he previously bragged about the album online and had mixed reactions from others but insisted he knew what he was talking about.
"I did a bragging tweet that actually turned people off, but I know myself. When you have something in you, it will get to a point that you'll say, Peter brag!"
Mr. P noted that he and his crew had put so much into the project and it would be hard for fans and critics to ignore.
"We locked ourselves in the studio, we said we're cooking and while we were working, I just made that post that I'm about to have a non-skip album, this album will be among the most talked about album in the history of Afrobeats," he said.
Just days after releasing I Can't Look Away, the song is gaining massive attention online and on streaming platforms.
Many are also calling for a remix of the song with top artistes such as Davido, Chris Brown and Usher.
Mr. P also clarified that his new song is not AI-generated as many are speculating.
According to him, he is used to the negative comments about him and his focus is on the new album.
