Excitement is building among Ghanaians after eagle-eyed fans spotted what appears to be renowned Ghanaian dancer and choreographer Endurance Grand in the newly released first-look video for the highly anticipated fantasy film Children of Blood & Bone.

The epic adaptation, based on Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling novel, boasts a star-studded cast including Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Cynthia Erivo, Damson Idris, Thuso Mbedu, Lashana Lynch, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Amandla Stenberg. The behind-the-scenes teaser offers fans a glimpse into the magical world of Orïsha ahead of the film’s theatrical release.

Although Endurance Grand has not confirmed her appearance in the project, many social media users believe they spotted the Ghanaian dancer in the first-look video, sparking widespread celebration online.

Popular Ghanaian content creator SDK was among those who reacted, posting on X (formerly Twitter): “Did you guys see Endurance from DWP?”

Fans also flooded social media with congratulatory messages. One user wrote, “Endurance in there for Ghana. Big win,” while another commented, “Could swear I saw one popular Ghanaian dancer midway in the video.”

Endurance Grand is one of Ghana’s most recognizable dancers and digital creators. She rose to prominence through her energetic performances, viral dance challenges and her time with the acclaimed Dance With a Purpose (DWP) Academy.

While there has been no official confirmation from Endurance or the film’s producers regarding her involvement, the possibility of seeing a Ghanaian talent featured in such a major international production has left many fans proud and eagerly awaiting more details.
