Incredible Zigi Earns Best Dancer Nomination at 2025 Trace Awards & Summit
Incredible Zigi
Ghanaian dancer, Incredible Zigi has secured a nomination for Best Dancer at the 2025 Trace Awards & Summit, acknowledging his exceptional creativity and influence in the dance world. Over the past year, Zigi has not only boosted his own profile but has also shone a global spotlight on Ghanaian dance culture.

He faces stiff competition from a stellar group of dancers including Dancegod Lloyd from Ghana, Ikorodu Boys from Nigeria, Kamo Mphela from South Africa, Telminho from Angola, Makhadzi from South Africa, Ordinateur from Ivory Coast, and Issac Kalonji from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Zigi's year was nothing short of spectacular. He led dance workshops in Azonto and Afrobeats across China, Russia, and the USA, and choreographed Stonebwoy’s BhimFest 2024. His choreography sparked viral dance challenges for tracks like APOTHEKE by Stonebwoy, SNEAKY by Mr. Drew and Medikal, TOMORROW by Yemi Alade, and SYCHO by Criss Waddle. Additionally, his work on Yemi Alade's BADDIE music video, which clinched Best Music Video at the 2023 Trace Awards, showcases his knack for creating award-winning visual content.

Zigi's influence transcends borders, turning fans into dancers and making music videos memorable. His commitment to community is evident through the Incredible Zigi Foundation, where he's made significant contributions in Ghana's Eastern Region. His 10-episode series Inc Unscripted offered fans a personal glimpse into his life, featuring both Ghanaian celebrities and everyday supporters.

His performances in 2024 were electrifying, lighting up stages at events like the Ghana DJ Awards, Young & Free, Bigoo Concert, Merqury Quaye Live, and numerous campus shows. His partnerships with brands like Dettol and Bigoo Drink further illustrate his broad appeal and versatility.

The 2025 Trace Awards & Summit is set to celebrate African excellence, and Zigi's nomination underscores his significant contributions to dance. Fans can support him by voting at trace.plus/awards/best-dancer.
