Ghana’s fast-rising twin duo Lali X Lola are set to spice up the music scene with their debut album, Pepper Soup, arriving on August 22nd, 2025. Known for their seamless blend of R&B, highlife, Afrobeat, and pop, the sisters have been steadily building anticipation through a string of well-received singles that will feature on the project.

Over the past year, they’ve dropped infectious records including Pepper Dem and its remix, Fire Fire with Mix Master Garzy, Unstable featuring Nigerian twin duo Oiza and Meyi, and the uplifting GO. Each track has showcased a different flavour of their artistry, contributing to the rich, eclectic sound that’s become their signature.

The excitement reached a peak earlier this month at their Fire & Flow 3: The Pepper Soup Album Project concert, held on August 2nd at Alliance Française in Accra. The performance served as a vibrant preview, with the duo delivering dynamic live renditions and teasing new music, including an upcoming single titled Could It Be.

With Pepper Soup, Lali X Lola are promising more than just an album, they’re offering a full sensory experience, blending their soulful harmonies with a fearless approach to genre. As the release date draws closer, fans are eager to savour every drop of what could be one of the standout Ghanaian projects of the year.
