Chicago-based rapper Lil Durk is facing a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Andrea Laquila Robinson, the mother of Saviay’a Robinson, also known as Lul Pab. The lawsuit, submitted in Cook County Court, alleges that Lil Durk, his record label Only the Family (OTF), an unnamed business manager, and an affiliated company are responsible for orchestrating events leading to Lul Pab’s death.
Lul Pab was fatally shot in August 2022 during an alleged attempt on Quando Rondo’s life in Los Angeles. The lawsuit contends that Lil Durk and his associates played a significant role in orchestrating the events that led to Lul Pab’s death.
This civil suit adds to Lil Durk’s mounting legal challenges. He is currently incarcerated, awaiting trial on charges of orchestrating a murder-for-hire plot connected to the same incident. The trial, initially set for January 7th, has been postponed to October 14, as per newly obtained court documents.
In October 2024, Lil Durk was arrested in Florida while allegedly attempting to flee the country. He faces federal charges, including conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, related to the 2022 Los Angeles shooting.
As both criminal and civil proceedings loom, Lil Durk’s legal battles are intensifying, potentially impacting his music career and personal life.
