Speaking
on the Culture Daily show, Medikal has a hearty conversation with Culture Squad
– C-Real, Lerny Lomotey and Jason El-A – talking music, music business,
relationships, family, the BYK concert and digs into his recently released
18-track DISTURBATION 2 album.
During the
engaging conversation, Medikal shares the creative inspiration behind his new
project, diving into the emotions and experiences that shaped the songs –
SOMETIMES, DAY & NIGHT, RAINY DAYS, GHANA BOY, VETERAN, NO STOPPING, TOO
BAD featuring OliveTheBoy to mention a few.
The
rapper, who currently holds the number one song in the country with his
chart-topping SHOULDER featuring Shatta Wale and Beeztrap KOTM, surprisingly
reveals that SHOULDER isn’t his favourite track on the album. He names BADDIE,
DND featuring Sarkodie and I DID IT featuring Shatta Wale as his favourites.
Medikal
also reveals he makes songs when he hears the beats and feels the vibe and
SHOULDER was one of such songs, adding that he doesn’t intentionally make viral
songs.
Medikal
assures fans of his upcoming concert – BYK concert – happening at the Accra
Sports Stadium on December 13th, promising an unforgettable
experience.
