Nigerian singer, songwriter and record executive, Mr Eazi has unveiled a brand new single titled CASANOVA, one track from his forthcoming MAISON ROUGE EP, set for release next month under his emPawa Africa label.

The playful yet heartfelt song, produced by Ghana’s TMXO and Nigeria’s Kel-P, explores the balance between desire and devotion. Mr Eazi describes it as an honest confession of attraction, while reaffirming loyalty to love.

Accompanying the release is a cinematic music video, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ademola Falomo and shot in the heart of Barcelona. The visual tells the story of a cab driver, played by Mr Eazi, who finds himself caught in a whirlwind of flirtation, chaos, and unexpected tension.

CASANOVA follows the success of his July single CORNY and his soundtrack feature ATTENTION for the Formula One movie earlier this summer. The track also continues the momentum from his 2023 project THE EVIL GENIUS, recorded in Benin at the creative retreat Hotel Maison Rouge, where the upcoming EP also took shape.

With over four billion streams worldwide, Mr Eazi has been hailed as a pioneer of Banku music, blending Ghanaian highlife with Nigerian rhythms. CASANOVA is the latest example of his ability to fuse humor, vulnerability, and style while building anticipation for MAISON ROUGE, arriving this September.
