Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has dropped his sizzling new single PAY ME, featuring UK heavyweight Stormzy and Afrobeats sensation Zlatan. The track has quickly caught attention not only for its star-studded lineup but also for its clever nod to a hiplife classic.

PAY ME weaves in a sample from Ahomka Wo Mu, the 2003 chart-topping hit by Ghanaian hiplife veterans VIP (Vision In Progress).

This iconic anthem, which stayed at the top of Ghanaian charts for over 20 weeks, has been repurposed into the beat of the new single through an interpolation of Make We Jolly, a playful Nollywood track that originally sampled Ahomka Wo Mu.

Musically, PAY ME leans into highlife-infused rhythms blended with drill and grime energies, Odumodublvck leads with an assertive hook calling out “Run me, run me oo, pay me my money,” while Stormzy and Zlatan deliver their signature flow and swagger.
