Raevin Named Apple Music’s Up Next Spotlight for Ghana
Raevin
Apple Music has officially selected Ghanaian Afro-fusion singer-songwriter Raevin as the latest artist to be featured in its prestigious Up Next artiste development program in Ghana.

The announcement arrives amidst rising momentum for the young talent, marking a significant milestone in his burgeoning career.

Hailing from Worawora in Ghana’s Oti Region, Raevin’s passion for music traces back to his early days—performing in church brass bands on drums and trombone, and singing in the choir.

His breakthrough came following his vocal feature on King Promise’s hit track TERMINATOR which garnered widespread acclaim and introduced him to larger audiences.
Raevin’s inclusion in Apple Music’s Up Next coincides with the release of his debut EP, Feelings of Raevin, which dropped on August 14, 2025. This six-track collection—produced by Grammy-nominated hitmaker Killbeatz, features singles like FEVER that are already making waves on streaming platforms. Music outlets describe the EP as a vibrant exploration of love, emotion, and personal growth through an energetic blend of Afro-fusion soundscapes.

The Up Next program is Apple Music’s monthly initiative for spotlighting and nurturing emerging talent by elevating their global visibility through editorial promotion, curated playlists, and exclusive content. As the Ghana representative, Raevin will feature prominently on the Apple Music Up Next playlist, receiving editorial and audience focus in his Amplification push.

Raevin’s recognition is a testament to Ghana’s continued impact on the global Afrobeats and Afro-fusion scenes. Through Apple Music’s Up Next initiative, he joins a distinguished roster of artistes, including Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema who have previously leveraged the program to expand their reach.

With the Up Next spotlight in full effect and a compelling debut EP in circulation, Raevin is positioned at the cusp of international exposure. His dynamic sound rooted in Ghana’s Highlife tradition yet boldly contemporary, signals a unique voice ready to carry the country’s musical heritage to global audiences.
