During his interview on 3Music TV's Big Conversation, Reggie Rockstone hinted at an upcoming historic collaboration with fellow Hip Life legends Obrafour and Okyeame Kwame. Rockstone shared that the idea of a joint album had been a long-standing ambition, which initially faced obstacles but is now back on the table.
The proposed collaboration, which Rockstone dubbed 3 THEHARDWAY, aims to bring together the distinct talents of these three iconic figures. Rockstone reminisced about a previous attempt to collaborate with Obrafour and the late Lord Kenya, which fell through due to scheduling conflicts and misunderstandings.
Despite these setbacks, Rockstone remains optimistic about the new project, envisioning it as a groundbreaking moment in Ghanaian music history.
Rockstone also addressed past tensions between Obrafour and Okyeame Kwame, noting that both artistes have since reconciled and are enthusiastic about the project. "The beef is kinda old," Rockstone remarked humorously, highlighting the maturity and growth of both artistes over the years.
He emphasized that the collaboration is about celebrating their shared legacy and contributing to the culture, promising that the album will be prolific.
The anticipation for this potential collaboration is high, with fans eager to see these Hiplife pioneers unite for what promises to be a monumental project in Ghanaian music.
