Ghanaian songstress, Gyakie, has unveiled a new visualizer for her track WANT IT, bringing fresh visual expression to one of the standout songs from her debut album AFTER MIDNIGHT. Released in early 2026, the visual adopts a minimalist yet captivating approach, using mood, colour and Gyakie’s calm, emotive presence to mirror the song’s intimate feel.
The release forms part of her ongoing rollout strategy for AFTER MIDNIGHT, keeping fans engaged while spotlighting key tracks from the project.
WANT IT, produced by Rore, serves as the album’s 14th track and explores themes of love, desire and emotional connection. The song blends smooth Afrobeats rhythms with soulful melodies, while Gyakie weaves in elements of Twi, grounding the record in her Ghanaian roots while maintaining global appeal.
Released in 2025, AFTER MIDNIGHT marked Gyakie’s debut studio album and features a mix of international and African collaborations, including 6LACK, Headie One and Young Jonn. The project highlights her versatility and continues to expand her global footprint.
Since its release, the album has significantly elevated Gyakie’s international profile, earning her recognition such as Billboard’s African Rookie of the Month in October 2025. With millions of streams accumulated across platforms, AFTER MIDNIGHT continues to perform strongly, with tracks like WANT IT contributing to its lasting impact.
