Shatta Wale Drops Official Video For NO BBF From African King Album

Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has released the official music video for his standout track NO BBF, on his latest album African King (African Dancehall).

The visuals, directed by Ichopvideos, dropped on YouTube on August 3, 2026, and quickly began circulating among fans.

The high-energy video shows Wale in a luxury setting that features mansions, pools, cars, and stylish outfits; with flashy jewelry, group dance sequences, and dynamic camera work. 

NO BBF first appeared as part of the 21-track African King album, released on July 17, 2026, under Shatta Movement Records.

The roughly 1:49 song is described as a deeply personal record drawing on life’s trials, resilience, faith, and self-belief.

The lyrics emphasize selective loyalty, a tight circle of true friends over fair-weather ones, big dreams, and independence, with lines rejecting “bomb friends” and stressing authenticity.

The album once again positions Wale as one of Africa's dancehall giants.
