The Volta Region stood still this weekend as Stonebwoy returned home to Anloga for a homecoming concert that felt more like a royal festival than a show. Thousands flooded the Lalana Beach Resort, turning the coastal town into a sea of lights, flags and Bhim energy.
Before hitting the stage, Stonebwoy made a grand stop to pay homage to His Royal Majesty Togbui Sri III, the Awormefia of Anlo State, and other traditional leaders a powerful gesture that underscored his respect for his roots and the culture that raised him.
When the lights dimmed and the beat dropped, Anloga went wild. From INTO THE FUTURE to THERAPY to classic anthems like NOMINATE, Stonebwoy delivered hit after hit, blending reggae, dancehall and Afrobeats with effortless command. His performance felt personal and emotional even as he shared stories between songs, thanked his people, and celebrated how far they’ve all come.
Fans danced barefoot on the sand, fireworks lit up the sky and chants of “Bhim!” echoed deep into the night. It wasn’t just a concert it was a homecoming filled with pride, unity and love.
By the end of the show, one thing was clear: Stonebwoy’s heart still beats for Anloga. His return wasn’t just about music; it was a reminder that no matter how global you become, home will always be the loudest crowd cheering you on.
