The Jennifer Hudson Show Renews for Fifth Season Amid Daytime TV Shake‑Up

In a major vote of confidence for the daytime talk show landscape, Fox‑owned television stations have picked up The Jennifer Hudson Show for a fifth season in 2026‑27, continuing a partnership that’s been in place since the series debuted in fall 2022.  

The syndicated daytime series, hosted by multi‑award‑winning entertainer Jennifer Hudson, has stood out during a period of significant change in daytime television. Its renewal comes on the heels of two fellow syndicated talk shows, The Kelly Clarkson Show and Sherri, announcing they will end after their current seasons.  

Fox Television Stations’ pickup offers stability in a shrinking market for first‑run syndicated talk programs. Produced by Warner Bros. Discovery’s Telepictures and shot in Los Angeles, the show has delivered solid ratings and notable year‑over‑year growth in key demographics, particularly among adults and women. There’s news that the program’s strong digital footprint, with elements like its Spirit Tunnel segment have brought increased social media attention.  

In a statement, Hudson expressed her gratitude and excitement for another season, saying she’s “honored to continue this journey” with her production team, station partners and viewers across the country.

Telepictures Senior Vice President of Current Programming Lauren Blincoe highlighted the significance of the renewal amid the broader daytime shake‑up, noting that Hudson’s authenticity and generosity of spirit resonate deeply with viewers and set the program apart in an increasingly competitive media environment.
