Ghana’s biggest beach festival is back! And this year, it’s wilder than ever. Tidal Rave 2025, dubbed The Wild Card Edition, is set to take over the coast on November 14th and 15th, delivering two full days of non-stop music, art, culture and unforgettable experiences.
Organised by EchoHouse Ghana, the festival has become a major highlight on the entertainment calendar, fusing creative expression with youth culture in a way few events can match. From electrifying performances to beach games and immersive art installations, Tidal Rave has grown beyond a concert, it’s a cultural movement.
The 2025 edition promises to push the boundaries, with Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayra Starr leading the international lineup alongside Black Sherif, Daku Vibes, Gyakie and Moliy, among others. The “wild card” concept reflects this year’s twist. Fans should expect surprises, unexpected experiences and an entirely reimagined rave atmosphere.
Speaking on Culture Daily, Lisa Darko, the Tidal Rave 2025 Culture Current for Dance, explained that dance will play a more interactive role this year.
“I’ve always gone as a performer,” Lisa said. “But this year, I’m going as a raver. We’re creating a space where everyone can dance not just watch. If you know a song and want to vibe, I’ll be right there with you. This year, we’re dancing as we rave.”
She added that the two main stages will run simultaneously. A live performance stage and a DJ zone where the real rave unfolds, complete with crowd participation, challenges and freestyle moments.
“There’s a pool party, beach access from noon, and games throughout the day,” she revealed. “We’re making sure every moment feels alive, it’s the wildest Tidal Rave yet.”
Joining Lisa on the show, Crystabel Vorgbe, Head of Youth Segment at Absa Bank Ghana, detailed how Absa is using the event to connect with the country’s vibrant youth community through innovation and experience.
“At Absa, we want to meet young people where they are and Tidal Rave is exactly that space,” she said. “It’s been a long year, and this is the time to unwind. Through our Spark by Absa Ghana app, we’re giving the first 1,000 sign-ups a ₵100 discount on their Tidal Rave tickets.”
To access the offer, users can download the Spark by Absa Ghana app via the App Store or Play Store and register using the referral code TIDAL25 to unlock their discount for ticket purchases made through the Tidal Rave website.
“It’s our way of giving back to the youth,” Crystabel added. “We’re not just part of the fun, we’re part of the movement.”
This year’s tickets come in four tiers
• General Access: ₵300
• VIP: ₵500
• Wild Card: ₵700
• Group of Five: ₵1,500
