Tyler Perry Confirms Season 2 of Beauty In Black
Beauty In Black
Netflix has officially renewed Tyler Perry’s drama series, Beauty in Black, for a second season. The announcement came on March 12th, 2025, shortly after the release of Season 1, Part 2, which premiered on March 6th.  

Beauty in Black follows the intertwined lives of Kimmie, portrayed by Taylor Polidore Williams, a young woman striving to escape her past, and Mallory Bellaire, played by Crystle Stewart, a successful entrepreneur entangled in her family’s illicit activities. The series delves into themes of power, betrayal, and resilience.

Season 1 garnered significant viewership, spending four weeks in Netflix’s Top 10 and reaching the number one spot in 28 countries during its second week.   The upcoming season is set to be released in two parts, continuing the narrative of Kimmie’s quest for justice and the complexities within the Bellaire family.

While an official release date for Season 2 has yet to be announced, fans can anticipate more dramatic twists and character developments as the story unfolds.
