Adding to the long list of A-list celebrities being accused of sexual assault happens to be actor, Vin Diesel. In a troubling development, a woman identified as Asta Jonasson has come forward, alleging that she experienced sexual assault during her brief employment with Vin Diesel's One Race company in September 2010, specifically during the production of FAST FIVE. According to reports by Rolling Stone and Vanity Fair, Jonasson claims she was initially hired and traveled to Atlanta to work on the FAST & FURIOUS franchise.

The situation escalated when, later that month, Jonasson alleges she was instructed to meet Diesel at a club. In the early morning hours, Diesel, Jonasson, and several hostesses left the establishment and returned to a hotel suite. 

According to Jonasson's account, Diesel and another unidentified woman went into the suite's bedroom. When Jonasson received a call from Diesel's security team stating they couldn't reach him, she walked into the bedroom to inform him that he needed to leave the hotel. It was at this point, Jonasson alleges, that Diesel grabbed her wrists, pulled her onto the bed, forcibly kissed and groped her, and later pinned her to a wall. The accusations further detail Diesel's attempt to remove her underwear and expose himself, engaging in explicit behavior.

In a subsequent report by Vanity Fair, Jonasson claims she was fired in retaliation by One Race president Samantha Vincent, who is Diesel's sister. Diesel's attorney, Bryan Freedman, has vehemently denied these allegations, stating that Vin Diesel categorically denies the claim in its entirety. Freedman emphasizes that this is the first time Diesel has heard about the more than 13-year-old claim made by Jonasson, described as a purportedly nine-day employee. The attorney asserts there is clear evidence completely refuting these "outlandish" allegations.

The serious nature of these accusations raises concerns not only about the alleged incident but also about the potential impact on Diesel's career, the Fast & Furious franchise as well as the broader issue of workplace harassment within the entertainment industry.
