The Miss SHS Ghana 2025 pageant, organised by Hi Skul Trace TV, concluded on December 28th at the GH Schools Mega Studio in Achimota, Ghana. After a week celebrating talent, creativity, elegance and rich cultural expression, Joy-Gwenever Nardu Lartey (Gwen) from the Greater Accra Region emerged as this year’s winner.
Princess-Larissah Aforde Wodo, representing Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School and the Eastern Region, was named first runner-up, while Ramatu Bilah Ango from Accra Wesley Girls Senior High School, representing the Northern Region, secured second runner-up.
Miss SHS Ghana is a prestigious high school pageant dedicated to discovering and showcasing the talents of students with a passion for making an impact through pageantry.
The Contestants
This year’s competition featured 19 contestants proudly representing schools such as Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School, Accra Wesley Girls, Temasco, O’Reilly Senior High, Kepdze Senior High, Odasco, Ghanata Senior High, Chemu Senior High, St. Catherine and more.
The panel of judges included Princess Dede (GMB 2021, Greater Accra Representative), Christine Edem Tsekumah (GMB 2017, Volta Region) and Osasio of Osasio Fashion.
Gwen, representing Tema Secondary School, stood out among the contestants, earning the crown, sash, a cash prize of GHC 12,000 and additional packages from the event’s sponsors.
The evening was a spectacular display of fashion, entertainment and confidence, as all finalists graced the stage with poise, creativity and compelling presentations, each aspiring to become the next Miss SHS Ghana.
