Over the weekend, young women gathered at the vibrant Nexus 9 Lounge & Space for the maiden edition of the Girl Talk Brunch, an intimate and inspiring event organized by Smoove For Her in collaboration with Nura, Ghana’s growing cosmetics online shop.

The brunch, hosted under the newly launched Smoove For Her initiative, created a safe and exciting space for women to connect, unwind and engage in meaningful conversations. What started as a podcast platform has now evolved into a women-centered impact initiative aimed at empowering and connecting young women through events, conversations and community-driven experiences.

The event brought together a number of young women, creatives and influencers for an afternoon filled with networking, bonding and self-expression. Popular influencer Miss Enny and fashion designer Goldyn Adams were among the special guests who joined attendees for the memorable experience.

Guests enjoyed engaging girl-talk moments, painting sessions, cocktails and conversations centered around growth, friendship, womanhood and creativity. The relaxed atmosphere allowed attendees to freely connect and build new relationships while enjoying curated experiences throughout the brunch.

One of the highlights of the event was the official launch of Smoove For Her, an initiative by Smoove Network focused on creating impactful experiences and opportunities for women. The launch marked a significant step in transforming the brand from Girl Talk into a growing movement dedicated to supporting and empowering women.

Speaking on the vision behind the initiative, organizers emphasized the importance of creating intentional spaces where women can feel heard, inspired and connected.

With the successful turnout and positive reactions from attendees, the Girl Talk Brunch has already positioned itself as one of the exciting emerging women-focused lifestyle events with many anticipating future editions.
