3Music TV is gearing up for its annual Women’s Brunch, an event dedicated to celebrating the achievements and impact of women across Africa.

Speaking ahead of the celebration on Culture Daily, executive producer Rashidatu Yasmine Abdulai highlighted the importance of the event, noting that it provides a platform to tell women’s stories and recognise their accomplishments.

According to her, the brunch aligns with the global spirit of International Women’s Day, which celebrates the successes and contributions of women around the world.

“At 3Music, we also take the opportunity to celebrate women who are doing incredible work, mainly across Ghana and the rest of Africa,” she explained.

This year’s edition will honour 40 women from different sectors, with a focus on influential figures from Ghana and other African countries. The long-term vision, she added, is to eventually expand the celebration beyond the continent.

“We’re starting with Africa, but gradually we hope to expand and celebrate women globally,” she said.

As executive producer of the event, Rashidatu Yasmine Abdulai noted that organising such a celebration requires significant resources, as the goal is to create an enjoyable and memorable experience for the women being honoured.

“It’s about bringing women together to celebrate, relax and enjoy themselves away from the hustle of everyday life,” she said.

The 2026 Women’s Brunch will take place at the O3 Arena on Saturday, 28th March, 2026. The O3 Arena is an event space located at the 3Music TV premises in Accra. The venue features a large open area in front of the station’s building where the media house regularly hosts events.

Last year’s edition was held at the Airport West Hotel, which supported the initiative by providing the venue.

With the event only weeks away, organisers are also appealing to corporate partners and supporters to help make this year’s celebration successful.

“It takes a lot to organise events like this,” she said. “We’re hoping sponsors and supporters will come on board to help us honour these incredible women.”
