Ghanaian rapper Amerado is set to release a new project titled The Price of Becoming, scheduled for August 28, 2026.
The upcoming project, listed for pre-release on Spotify, marks another chapter in the rapper's musical journey, with the title reflecting the personal cost, sacrifices and challenges that often come with pursuing the person one dreams of becoming.
In announcing the project, Amerado shared a deeply personal reflection on the realities behind growth, acknowledging the doubts, setbacks, difficult nights, lost relationships and moments of wanting to give up that can accompany the pursuit of success.
He explained that he has experienced some of these moments himself and has transformed those experiences into music, setting the tone for a project that appears to draw heavily from his personal journey and evolution as an artiste.
The Price of Becoming therefore arrives as more than a new collection of songs; it represents Amerado's reflection on the journey behind the achievements.
The project is currently available for pre-save, with a tracklist preview also appearing on Spotify ahead of its August 28 release.
For fans who have followed Amerado's progression through Ghana's hip-hop and mainstream music space, the EP promises an intimate look at the experiences, sacrifices and lessons that have shaped the artiste he continues to become.
