Rigorous Activities Can Break Hymen - Dr. Chris Explains

Medical practitioner Dr. Christian Aminarh has addressed societal myths surrounding virginity and female anatomy, cautioning the public against relying on physical markers or cosmetic remedies to measure sexual history.

Speaking during 3Music TV's Culture Daily show, Dr. Chris clarified that there is no clinical exam, physical test, or anatomical indicator that can determine whether a person has engaged in sexual intercourse.

He addressed the long-standing cultural obsession with the hymen, emphasizing that its condition is an unreliable measure of a woman’s virginity.

"The presence of the hymen or the absence of it is not a reliable source of information... because the hymen naturally varies from one woman to the other," Dr. Chris explained.

He noted that everyday non-sexual activities such as athletics, cycling, horseback riding, or routine physical development can easily cause the tissue to stretch or tear without sexual contact. 

"Based on the hymen's nature pertaining, to what activity that woman does whether it's horse riding, sports, cycling, any activity can cause that hymen to break. Some naturally may have it so thin that even just normality or growing up can make it just fall apart and bleed and and then goes away," he said. 

During the show, the panel displayed anatomical diagrams showcasing various natural hymen shapes, including annular, septate, cribriform, and crescentic variations.

Dr. Chris pointed out that some women are born with very thin tissue or naturally larger openings, while others do not experience bleeding or discomfort during their first sexual encounter. 

Addressing commercial market for vaginal tightening creams and pills, driven by societal pressure and partner expectations, Dr. Chris issued a stern warning against using unverified chemical treatments, noting that unregulated products pose serious health risks, including potential kidney damage. 

"It's a muscle, the way you can build your biceps and triceps, you can also build a [Vagina] muscle. But this creams and pills; no!" 

Dr. Christian urged viewers to dismantle unrealistic physical expectations and prioritize mutual open communication over harmful physical modifications.
