Nigerian Afrobeats powerhouse Asake has added another accolade to his rapidly growing roster—his hit single TERMINATOR has officially been certified Silver in the United Kingdom. Confirmed on August 8th, 2025, this milestone marks Asake’s fourth song to achieve Silver certification in the UK, denoting over 200,000 units sold through a combination of streams and physical sales.

TERMINATOR, released in August 2022 under the YBNL Nation imprint, continues to resonate with UK audiences nearly three years after its release, underscoring Asake’s enduring appeal and global footprint.

This latest certification builds on his track record of success, notably, previous UK Silver recognitions have included BANDANA with Fireboy DML, LONELY AT THE TOP, and another solo hit. Each certification points to his growing influence beyond the African continent.
