Nigerian Afro-fusion artiste Ayox is poised to unveil his sophomore EP, WHEN NOBODY IS WATCHING, on May 8th, 2025. The seven-track project delves deep into personal experiences, exploring themes of vulnerability, emotional struggles, and the contrast between public appearances and private realities.




The EP features collaborations with Ghanaian artiste Lasmid, rising Nigerian singer Qing Madi, and veteran gospel musician Dr. Yinka Ayefele. Ayox describes the project as “a body of work filled with emotions, honesty, love, vulnerability, and deep thoughts.” He emphasizes that each song is inspired by personal experiences, aiming to resonate with listeners who grapple with hidden emotional battles.

The standout track AYO, featuring Dr. Yinka Ayefele, holds special significance for Ayox, marking a dream collaboration with his childhood hero.

WHEN NOBODY IS WATCHING will be available on all major streaming platforms starting May 8. Fans, affectionately known as “The Loners,” can anticipate a deeply personal and sonically rich experience that continues Ayox’s ascent in the Afrobeat scene.
