3Media Networks successfully hosted the 6th edition of its annual Women’s Brunch on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the O3 Arena located at the 3Music TV forecourt. Held in commemoration of International Women’s Day, the event once again brought together women from diverse industries across Ghana and beyond for a powerful day of storytelling, empowerment and connection.
The Women’s Brunch continues to serve as a platform dedicated to amplifying sister stories real-life journeys of resilience, growth and success. The initiative aims to inspire younger generations of women while fostering meaningful networking opportunities among established and emerging female leaders. At its core, the event celebrates women, recognises their contributions and gives them their well-deserved flowers.
This year’s edition spotlighted 40 trailblazing women from across various sectors and parts of Africa, acknowledging their impact and excellence. Each of the 40 honourees received citations in recognition of their work, while five distinguished women were specially honoured for their outstanding contributions to their respective creative fields.
The five honourees included: Asabea Cropper for music, Dzifa Glikpo for theatre, Victoria Adoe for fine arts, Akorfa Edzeani for film and Rashidatu Yasmine Abdulai, CEO of 3Media Networks, who received a surprise honour for her leadership and vision
The event featured a dynamic lineup of speakers who shared insightful perspectives on leadership, career growth and navigating challenges as women in their industries. Speakers included Dr Afua Asabea Asare, an Integrated Communications and International Trade Consultant and Mariam Kaleem Agyeman-Buahin, COO of Akuna Group and a seasoned brand consultant and fintech professional.
Adding to the vibrant atmosphere were captivating musical performances from Cina Soul and twin duo LaliXLola, who energised the audience and elevated the celebratory mood of the event.
The Women’s Brunch was spearheaded by Rashidatu Yasmine Abdulai, CEO of 3Media Networks, who served as Executive Producer. She was supported by Co-Executive Producer Whitney Boakye-Mensah, Managing Partner of Innorvations Events WBM and Founder of My Dear Sister’s Keeper GH.
