R&B legends and rising stars are collaborating yet again, Brandy has added her voice to Kehlani’s summer hit FOLDED, releasing a new version of the track that layers in Brandy’s rich, soulful harmonies.

The refreshed rendition, previewed in a studio-clip shared by Brandy on social media, shows the veteran singer taking a break from rehearsals for The Boy Is Mine Tour to record her vocals. She refers to Kehlani as “my lil sis,” expressing admiration for the younger artiste and delight at being part of what she calls one of the year’s biggest songs.

Kehlani’s original version of FOLDED dropped on June 11th, 2025. The track, produced by Andre Harris, D.K. The Punisher, Don Mills, and Khris Riddick-Tynes, has already become a summer favorite, with its lyrical vulnerability and emotive R&B arrangement earning praise from critics and fans alike.
