Netflix has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated fourth season of Bridgerton will debut in 2026, continuing the hit Regency-era romance saga that has captivated audiences worldwide.

According to reports, filming for the new season has wrapped, and post-production is currently underway. Season 4 will spotlight Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, and newcomer Yerin Ha as Sophie Beckett, in what promises to be a Cinderella-inspired love story.

Fans had speculated that the next season would arrive in 2027 due to Netflix’s usual two-year production gap between releases. However, insiders have confirmed that the streaming giant aims to release the new chapter earlier than expected, with an early 2026 premiere window being discussed.

Like previous installments, Bridgerton Season 4 will feature eight episodes, filled with romance, scandal, and high-society drama. There are also rumors that Netflix may split the season into two parts, similar to the release format for Season 3, though this has not yet been officially announced.

Created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland, Bridgerton has become one of Netflix’s most successful franchises, praised for its stunning visuals, diverse casting, and emotional storytelling.

With Benedict’s love story next in line, viewers can expect another season of elegance, secrets, and passion, proving once again that Bridgerton remains the crown jewel of Netflix’s period dramas.
