UPDATE showcases Burna Boy’s signature fusion of Afrobeats, pop, and amapiano, creating a vibrant soundscape that pays homage to the 1989 classic Back to Life by Soul II Soul. The song’s production, handled by P2J, incorporates African folk drum arrangements, providing a rhythmic foundation over which Burna Boy delivers lyrics celebrating his status and resilience in the music industry. 
Accompanying the audio release, the energetic music video for UPDATE features dynamic visuals that complement the track’s lively tempo. The video, available on Burna Boy’s official YouTube channel, has already garnered significant attention from fans and critics alike.
