DJ Drama Previews Posthumous Nipsey Hussle Collaboration On Forthcoming Album

American DJ, record executive, music promoter and Gangsta Grillz mixtape DJ, Tyree Cinque Simmons professionally known as DJ Drama has previewed a Nipsey Hussle feature presumed to be on his forthcoming album, I’m Really Like That, four years after the rapper’s untimely death. This comes barely a week after news broke that the rapper’s killer had been given a life sentence.

Boasting a handful of classic mixtapes and one album which potentially set the precedent for an illustrious career before his untimely demise, Nipsey Hussle has posthumously appeared on very few projects including singles with Jay-Z and Dr. Dre.

Speculations about the record state that claims of the verse being unreleased might be untrue as the rapper’s verse from the 2016 record State of Mind might have been reused by DJ Drama who hit fans with a preview of the song which is set to be on his forthcoming album.

With a working relationship dating back to a time before the release of his final project Victory Lap, Nipsey and DJ Drama were certainly no strangers to each other, having collaborated on the third installment of the former’s Marathon series, Crenshaw.
