Ghanaian musician Dr Cryme, renowned for always wearing a cap, recently shared insights into his distinctive style. In an interview with Property FM, the Tema-based rapper and songwriter, whose real name is Darlington Kwesi Agyekum, revealed that wearing a cap has become an essential part of his identity.

"Wearing a cap is so much a part of me that I feel incomplete if I dress without one or have to go out without it," Dr Cryme admitted. He mentioned that it’s rare to see him without a cap, and if he is, it’s probably because he gave it away as a gift.

Reflecting on his trademark look, Dr Cryme revealed that he sports a variety of caps in different colors and styles from his large collection every day. "Every day, I wear different kinds and colors of caps, and as long as I'm alive, I won't stop wearing them," he said.

Responding to speculation that he wears caps to conceal a bald head, Dr Cryme dismissed the rumors. He clarified that he's been braiding his hair since the beginning of his music career, and his hair is now quite long.
