When comedy meets purpose, the result is something
truly special and that’s exactly what Dr. Likee (Ras Nene) and Opoku Bilson are
bringing to Ghana’s entertainment scene with their new comedy show, TOOLI
JUNCTION.
Dr. Likee’s journey begins in the Kumawood film
industry, where he often plays the tough guy, gangsters, villains and street
hustlers. Yet behind those fierce roles lies an actor with a deep sense of
humor and an instinct for timing. Around 2012, he starts experimenting with
short, funny videos that reflect everyday life. These simple, relatable skits
quickly catch fire on YouTube and social media, reshaping his career entirely.
Now, the same man who builds a digital empire from the
streets of Kumasi is taking that energy live and bringing his signature humor,
chaos, and creativity to one of Ghana’s biggest cultural stages. The TOOLI
JUNCTION (OOBAKE VRS AKWAABA) Show isn’t just a performance; it’s the next
chapter in the story of a man who turns street skits into national art.

Dr. Likee
TOOLI JUNCTION (OOBAKE VRS AKWAABA) lights up the
National Theatre tonight at 7pm, with Jeffery Nortey, Lawyer Nti and other
surprise acts. The show entertains while staying deeply rooted in the culture
and community that inspire it.
With TOOLI JUNCTION, Dr. Likee cements his legacy,
transforming what was once a grassroots content style into a national
celebration of laughter and unity. The show brings together fans, industry
icons and fellow comedians in what promises to be a historic night for Ghanaian
comedy.
It’s more than a performance it’s a moment of recognition for a man who turns his passion into purpose, his humor into healing and his skits into a stage experience that carries the heartbeat of a nation.
