Rising rap star GloRilla has been released on bond after being arrested in Georgia earlier this week on drug possession charges. According to reports first shared by TMZ, the Memphis-born rapper was taken into custody on Tuesday, July 23, and later released the same day on $22,000 bond.
Police say the arrest followed a search conducted as part of an investigation into a burglary targeting a home owned by GloRilla. During the search, authorities reportedly uncovered substances that led to her being charged with possession of a scheduled controlled substance and possession of marijuana exceeding one ounce.
The rapper, known for her breakout hit F.N.F. (Let’s Go) and recent collaborations with artists like Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, has not publicly commented on the charges. However, sources close to her suggest she plans to fight the allegations.
As of now, GloRilla has not faced any burglary-related charges. Further developments in the case are expected as the investigation continues.
