Gyakie Drops Trailer And Album Artwork Ahead OF Debut Album Release

Ghanaian songbird, Gyakie is preparing to unveil her debut full-length album, AFTER MIDNIGHT, set for release on 29th August 2025. She surprised fans by launching the cinematic Intro visualizer, serving as both a trailer and creative window into her next musical chapter, alongside the album’s striking official artwork. 

The title of the album, AFTER MIDNIGHT, is more than just evocative, it’s literal. Gyakie reveals that almost every track on the album was written and recorded in the quiet, reflective hours after midnight. She speaks of the peace, ambient sounds of nature, and calming solitude that fuel her creativity during those late-night hours. 

AFTER MIDNIGHT marks Gyakie’s first full-length studio album. Since her breakout in 2020 with the Seed EP and follow-up My Diary EP, she’s become a defining voice in Afro-fusion, merging highlife, R&B, soulful lyricism, and emotive storytelling.
