Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci has been officially awarded another Guinness World Records title, further cementing her place in global culinary history.
In a confirmation message from Guinness World Records, Hilda was informed that during her successful attempt at the “Largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice,” she and her team also inadvertently met the criteria for a separate record, “Largest serving of rice.” As a result, Guinness World Records has proactively awarded her the additional title.
The newly confirmed record recognizes a massive 8,780 kilograms of rice, achieved alongside Gino on 12 September 2025 at Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
According to Guinness World Records, the feat officially stands as the largest serving of rice ever recorded, weighing approximately 19,356 pounds and 9 ounces.

In their congratulatory message, Guinness World Records described the achievement as Officially Amazing (again), highlighting the rare nature of earning multiple records from a single attempt.
