The United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is set to auction off a range of valuable items once owned by rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine in a bid to recover unpaid taxes. The online auction, managed by Florida-based Market Auctions, includes over 40 high-value assets, such as diamond-encrusted pendants, a Cartier watch, and gold plaques for some of the rapper’s biggest hits, including FEFE and GUMMO.
This move follows the IRS’s efforts to recover a reported $2.3 million in back taxes that the rapper owes. The auction offers a glimpse into the extravagant lifestyle that 6ix9ine led before his legal and financial troubles. Fans and collectors now have the opportunity to purchase memorabilia tied to his controversial career.
Items up for auction also include custom jewelry and exclusive accessories that reflect the rapper’s bold persona. With his once meteoric rise to fame now shadowed by legal issues and financial strain, the auction marks a significant moment in the artist’s ongoing battle with the IRS.
The online auction is scheduled to run for several weeks, with bids accepted through the Market Auctions platform. This marks another chapter in the tumultuous journey of Tekashi 6ix9ine, who remains a polarizing figure in the music industry.
