Kim Kardashian Testifies in Courtroom Against Paris Robbery Suspects, Shares Emotional Account
Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian delivered an emotional testimony in a Paris courtroom on Tuesday, recounting the terrifying ordeal she faced when she was robbed at gunpoint in October 2016. The reality star’s testimony was part of the ongoing trial against 10 men accused of stealing an estimated $9 million worth of jewelry during the infamous heist.

Dressed in a sleek black dress, paired with high heels, diamond earrings, and a large statement ring, Kim entered the Palais de Justice with her mother, Kris Jenner, and a film crew, presumably documenting the moment for their Hulu series The Kardashians. It was a significant day for Kim as she came face-to-face with the individuals who allegedly threatened her life in the middle of the night.

In her emotional testimony, Kim described the harrowing moment when she feared for her life. “I kept telling them I have babies and I need to get home to my babies,” Kim told the court, according to multiple reports. She explained that during the robbery, her thoughts were consumed with fear for her family, making it difficult to recall specific details about the robbers. “You start thinking about your family and it all goes out the door,” she said tearfully.

Among the accused was 69-year-old Aomar Ait Khedache, a man who is both mute and deaf, and who allegedly played a central role in the crime. Ait Khedache sent Kim a handwritten letter apologizing and asking for forgiveness, which Kim acknowledged in her statement. While she expressed her belief in second chances and the power of empathy, Kim also emphasized the importance of supporting victims of violent crimes. “I do also fight for victims who have been through horrific crimes and want to be heard and understood,” she said.

The trial, which has captivated international attention, continues to unfold as Kim’s testimony adds another emotional chapter to the traumatic event that shook her life and led to public conversations about safety, trauma, and justice.
