MadeInGhana Addresses Industry Support and Streaming Challenges
MADEINGHANA
In a candid interview on 3Music TV’s Big Conversation, Ghanaian content creator and streamer MadeInGhana called for greater support within the entertainment industry while sharing the highs and lows of his career. The skit maker, whose stage name proudly reflects his Ghanaian roots, discussed the lack of reciprocity from some artistes and brands, despite his efforts to promote others.

MadeInGhana expressed frustration over the limited support from Ghanaian artistes, noting that while he frequently uses their music in his skits and streams, few reciprocate by sharing his content. “I support plenty… but I never see any musician come through for me,” he said, urging for a stronger ecosystem where creators uplift each other. He emphasized that mutual support is crucial for the growth of Ghana’s entertainment industry, stating, “Each one teach one. We need to support each other to grow.”

The streamer also opened up about the financial challenges of his craft, particularly in streaming, which he sees as the next big thing in content creation. “The monitors, the lens, the data—it costs,” he revealed, noting that he recently earned $10 from a Twitch stream, a modest start compared to the investment required. Despite not being selected for Kai Cenat’s Streamer University, MadeInGhana remains undeterred, saying, “I never fail in my life… I told myself, work hard and get there.”

His connection with Nigerian audiences and creators, including shoutouts to Shatta Alikosi and Machala, has boosted his profile, but he insists on staying true to his Ghanaian identity. “Made in Ghana be made in Ghana still because of made in Nigeria,” he said, acknowledging the cross-border support that has fueled his growth.

MadeInGhana’s interview resonated with fans for its honesty and humor, with his call for support sparking discussions online about the need for collaboration in Ghana’s creative industry. As he continues to navigate fame, streaming, and music, MadeInGhana’s story is a testament to resilience and the power of staying true to one’s roots.
